Rose Sangria Spritzer
2 bottles cold Cinque Stelle Rose (“TUG”) wine
1 green apple, thinly sliced
1 plum, pitted and thinly sliced
1 peach, pitted and thinly sliced
1 orange, halved and thinly sliced
1 pint fresh berries
Simple syrup, to taste
Fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Combine wine, apple, orange, berries, peach, and plum in a pitcher. Then add simple syrup, to taste. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 1 day. Serve over ice, garnish with mint and top with Gingerale. This wine spritzer is a fun summertime drink to serve at parties or to simply enjoy after a long day.
Cabernet Cobbler Cocktail
4 oz. chilled Cinque Stelle Cabernet Sauvignon
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp superfine sugar
2 oz. chilled soda water
Pour the sugar, lemon juice, and soda water into a large glass. Add cracked ice and pour in the Cabernet Sauvignon. Stir Gently. Garnish with an orange slice and serve!
Blueberry Chardonnay Sangria Lemonade
1 bottle Cinque Stelle Chardonnay.
5 cups cognac
2 oz frozen pink lemonade container
1.5 cups frozen blueberries
3 cups lemon-lime soda
In a large pitcher, combine all ingredients. Refrigerate 1 hr. Pour over ice and enjoy on a hot day!
Mulled Red Wine
8 whole cloves
4 whole black peppercorns
4 strips fresh lemon zest
4 strips fresh orange zest
4 cups Cinque Stelle Grenache
1/2 cup cherry-flavored brandy
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1 vanilla bean, halved lengthwise
Put cloves, peppercorns, and zest on cheesecloth, then tie closed to form a bag. Combine wine, brandy, water, sugar, cinnamon stick, vanilla bean, and cheesecloth in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring. Simmer 10 minutes. Serve warm.
Pinot Grigio Wine Spritzer
2 lemons, zested
2 small oranges, zested
1 bottle Cinque Stelle Pinot Grigio wine
3 cups sparkling water
In a small bowl, toss the citrus zests together. Divide the zest mixture up and place in an empty ice cube tray, top with water and freeze for 3 to 5 hours. In a large pitcher, combine the wine with the sparkling water and the citrus zest ice cubes. Stir and serve. Enjoy on a hot summer day. Salute!
Italian Lemonade Wine Cooler
2 cups lemon juice, about 12 to 15 lemons
2 cups Basil Simple Syrup, recipe follows
2 cups cold or sparkling water
1 cup Cinque Stelle Pinot Grigio
Lemon twists, for garnish
Mix lemon juice, Basil Simple Syrup, Pinot Grigio, and water together in a pitcher. Store it in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Pour over ice filled glasses and garnish with a lemon twist.
Basil Simple Syrup
1 bunch fresh basil, washed and stemmed
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of water
In a saucepan combine basil, sugar, and water and simmer until the sugar is dissolved about 5 minutes. Cool, strain the simple syrup, and store in the refrigerator.
